Eight Count will be performing this Sunday, May 5th, at the Charity Dance Concert 2013 presented by Dance Team Stage 2.  Performances include Hip Hop, Break Dance, Hula, Jazz, Ballet, Percussion, etc. by talented performers in the Bay Area.

IXALT Presents Dance Jam - Saturday, 5/4/2013

Dance Jam is an all day event highlighting a variety of dance styles/genres taught by professional dance artists in the Bay Area.  The goal of Dance Jam is to promote diversity and cultivate a deeper appreciation of various dance forms and expressions.  IXALT is pleased to host another Dance Jam in honor of Bay Area Dance Week (April 26-May 5, 2013), and Eight Count will be one of the guest instructors!

FREE Youth Event - Saturday, 4/27/2013

Eight Count is guest performing at FREE Youth Event this Saturday, April 27th.  This event is hosted by Young Life Capernaum East Side San Jose's Club Psalm 150.  There will be music, dance, raffle, food, games, and more!!

Please join us on Thursday, May 16 for a fun and uplifting hip hop dance workshop to raise funds for Next Door, a local charity that supports women and children affected by domestic violence.

All levels and dance abilities are welcome! The workshop is totally free, but we'd love for you to give a donation to Next Door. If you can't attend the workshop, please still consider donating online here. 100% of the proceeds will used to provide basic necessities and comforts of home to women and children at Next Door.

WHY:

Nearly three out of four Americans personally know someone who has been a victim of domestic violence. That's just way too many. Recently, this issue touched our Eight Count family, and we felt this was an opportunity for us to raise awareness and give back. 

We've set a goal to raise $1000 for the women and children at Next Door. Women fleeing abuse in the middle of the night are often forced to leave all of their possessions behind. Our fundraising goal of $1000 will provide some of the basic necessities and comforts of home that families seek. Furthermore, it will show them that we, as a community, care about their struggles and applaud their bravery.
