Please join us this Thursday, June 13th, for another fun and uplifting hip hop dance workshop to raise funds for Next Door, a local charity that supports women and children affected by domestic violence.
- Date/Time: Thursday, June 13, 2013, 7:30 - 9:00 PM
- Location: GrX Ministry Center, 2346 Walsh Ave, Santa Clara, CA
- Cost: Whatever you can give!
All levels and dance abilities are welcome! The workshop is totally free, but we'd love for you to give a donation to Next Door. If you can't attend the workshop, please still consider donating online here. 100% of the proceeds will be used to provide basic necessities and comforts of home to women and children at Next Door.
Why:
Nearly three out of four Americans personally know someone who has been a victim of domestic violence. That's just way too many. Women fleeing abuse in the middle of the night are often forced to leave all of their possessions behind. We've set a goal to raise $1000 for the women and children at Next Door. Our fundraising goal of $1000 will provide some of the basic necessities and comforts of home that families seek. Furthermore, it will show them that we, as a community, care about their struggles and applaud their bravery.
