All levels and dance abilities
are welcome! The workshop is totally free, but we'd love for you to give
a donation to Next Door. If you can't attend the workshop, please still consider donating online here. 100% of the
proceeds will used to provide basic necessities and comforts of home to
women and children at Next Door.
WHY:
Nearly three out of four Americans personally know someone who has been
a victim of domestic violence. That's just way too many. Recently, this
issue touched our Eight Count family, and we felt this was an
opportunity for us to raise awareness and give back.
We've set
a goal to raise $1000 for the women and children at Next Door. Women
fleeing abuse in the middle of the night are often forced to leave all
of their possessions behind. Our fundraising goal of $1000 will provide
some of the basic necessities and comforts of home that families seek.
Furthermore, it will show them that we, as a community, care about their
struggles and applaud their bravery.
